Consumers love the Honda CR-V for many reasons. It provides exceptional fuel economy and abundant passenger and cargo space, along with appealing tech and safety features. Honda enhanced the 2015 CR-V with some nice, new qualities to further enhance its appeal. It now houses a direct-injected four-cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT) for increased power and efficiency. Exterior styling received a refresh and its feature list got a bit richer with a seven-inch touchscreen connected to Honda's LaneWatch blind-spot monitoring system. Also introduced to the CR-V is a new high-end Touring trim level, which includes additional consumer-friendly features. All in all, the CR-V is a well-rounded vehicle that provides solid transportation in an attractive package.

Practicality defines the interior of the 2015 CR-V with excellent space, superior visibility, and family-friendly features like child safety LATCH anchor points in all three seating positions. But, there are a few changes to the 2015 model that our customers are showing excitement for. There is now a console-mounted armrest-covered bin that provides easy-access storage space and two extra cup holders. Also added this year are soft-touch dashboard inserts with simulated stitching that give an upscale aesthetic.
The CR-V's liftgate stands as one of the most user-friendly in its class and opens up to a huge cargo area. Behind rear seats, the CR-V can carry 35.2cubic feet of cargo, and with seats stowed, this number jumps to a whopping 70.9 cubic feet.
Honda squeezed a full list of safety equipment and features into the CR-V that are designed to keep consumers safe on the road. Standard equipment, includes: antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, and a customer must-have, a rearview camera.
Depending on the trim level, the CR-V is equipped with many safety features that help ensure an error-free drive. There are many blind-spots located around a vehicle – not just over the driver's left shoulder, which is why Honda's LaneWatch blind-spot warning system is a customer favorite. It features a camera that is able to display passenger-side blind-spot activity on a even-inch touchscreen.
Another top safety feature is Honda's lane-departure and forward-collision warning and mitigation system that is able to distinguish between vehicles and pedestrians and warn the driver accordingly. It can also apply automatic braking intervention to reduce the severity of a collision.
