The 2015 Honda Fit Hatchback Features Unmatched Small-Car Versatility and More

Honda Fit

The Honda Fit Hatchback is back for 2015 with an all-new lineup that’s fully redesigned and ready to please. It features unmatched small-car versatility due to a unique rear-seat design, quick acceleration, high fuel economy, and spacious seating and cargo area. Visibility is also excellent with a more open feel in 2015. Read on for a closer look.

New to 2015: The 2015 Fit is known for its distinctive shape and is now a bit more grown up with an attractive new grille and headlight design, plus LED taillights. The interior now boasts higher-quality materials and it features new content from a larger touchscreen interface to smartphone app integration. The 2015 Fit shrinks a tad in overall length, but its wheels are set farther apart and rear suspension has been redesigned; this combo allows for increased room for those sitting in the backseat. Not only that, but the Fit provides such great space, those of six-feet plus will feel totally at ease. Another big reason for the Fit’s excellent cargo space is due to its ôMagic Seat, which has the ability to fold completely flat or flip its seat bottom up in order to easily fit passengers, large pets or even bikes.

Pep and Fuel Efficiency: Under the hood of the Fit, you’ll find many new updates that award it with a refreshing dose of pep and increased fuel efficiency. All models continue to house a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, but it now includes direct-injection technology. There is also a new six-speed manual transmission to replace the old five-speed automatic.

A Lineup That’s Easy to Enjoy: The 2015 Fit lineup features a handful of trims from the base L to the top EX-L with Navi. No matter which model you choose, there is plenty to enjoy.

The base LX comes with everything from automatic headlights to cruise control and full power accessories to a height-adjustable driver seat. Electronics feature a five-inch display screen, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and four-speaker sound system with CD player, auxiliary audio jack and iPod/USB audio interface.

The middle-of-the-road EX gains keyless entry and ignition, sunroof, seven-inch touchscreen interface and Honda’s LaneWatch blind-spot display. The audio system houses six speakers, Pandora functionality, smartphone app integration and HDMI input.

For top appeal, the Fit’s EX-L and EX-L with Navi trims feature upscale niceties, like leather upholstery, heated mirrors and heated front seats. The difference between the two is that the EX-L with Navi also includes a navigation system with voice recognition and upgrades to satellite and HD radio.
