It’s spacious, full of high-tech features, and offers top fuel economy. Plus, it’s cute and compact - all reasons why Honda’s 2015 Fit Hatchback is one of the top choices for a subcompact car.
The 2015 Fit Hatchback got a full redesign after a year hiatus in 2014. But it’s back with improved equipment and features that consumer’s are very happy with. One area that is proving to be popular is the interior. The new-and-improved Fit houses a modern vibe with more room than ever. While it’s considered as a subcompact vehicle, even those of six-foot height will have plenty of space. It’s 60/40-split ômagic rear seat is what sets the Fit apart from other subcompacts. When the rear seat is flipped up, the seat bottom creates a narrow, floor-to-roof space that accommodates taller items that otherwise would never fit in the confines of such a small car. The front passenger seat of the Fit can also fold flat, which allows for the storage of items up to eight-feet long.
Another perk of the 2015 Fit is its top safety equipment and scores. Every Fit comes standard with antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, and active head restraints. Safety scores are also good with a perfect score in government testing for total frontal-impact protection and total side-impact protection. It also scored the top rating in side-impact protection, roof strength, and whiplash protection by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
