Looking for a new ride? If you want quick acceleration, high-quality materials, and a long list of features, step into the 2015 Honda Accord.

The 2015 Accord is offered in sedan and coupe body styles with a lengthy list of four-cylinder, as well as V6 engine trims. We’ll start with the sedan.

LX: The four-cylinder base-level LX comes with a healthy list of standard equipment. It has full power accessories, cruise control, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and height-adjustable driver seat. It also boasts plenty of technology with an eight-inch infotainment display, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and rearview camera. The four-speaker sound system includes a CD player, auxiliary audio jack, iPod/USB audio interface, and Pandora Internet radio control.

Sport: The Sport trim also has a four-cylinder engine, but offers more horsepower and nice sport features. Wheels are bumped to 18 inches, driver seat has eight-way power adjustability, and steering wheel is leather-wrapped with shift paddles for its continuously variable transmission (CVT).

EX: If you opt for the EX trim, you’ll get a nice combo of the LX trim with a mix of sporty features. It comes with heated mirrors, sunroof, keyless ignition and entry, power driver seat, and leather steering wheel. The sound system gets six speakers instead of four, and for added safety, it includes Honda’s LaneWatch blind-spot display system.

EX-L: If you’re looking for an upscale vibe, the EX-L is the top choice. It’s equipped with an upgraded rearview camera, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and forward-collision and lane-departure warning systems. It also comes with full leather upholstery, heated front seats, driver-seat memory functions, and four-way power passenger seat. If you opt for the EX-L with Navi trim, you’ll a navigation system and voice recognition.

EX V6: The EX with V6 engine gets a bit more power and comes similarly equipped to the four-cylinder EX.

Touring: The Touring trim marks the top-of-the-line for the Accord sedans. It packs more pep with its V6 engine and equipment from the EX-L with Navi trim. It also gains LED headlights and adaptive cruise control.

There’s not too much to say about the coupe body styles - but here are a few tidbits to grab your interest.

The coupe’s base-level LX-S mimics the base-level LX sedan, but has six audio speakers instead of four and rides on 17-inch wheels. The coupe’s EX trims are equipped similar to the EX sedans, but the EX-L coupe boasts 18-inch wheels.

Safety: Outside of the basic info about what each trim offers, we wouldn’t be giving the 2015 Accord the credit it deserves if we didn’t discuss its high safety scores and top safety gear.

In government crash testing, the Accord sedan was awarded a perfect five stars in overall protection and side-impact safety; it got four stars in total frontal-impact protection. The coupe got even higher marks, earning five stars across the board.

In testing by the IIHS, both body styles received the top score of ôGood in moderate-overlap frontal-offset, side-impact, and roof-strength protection tests.
