If you’re in the market for a reliable car with plenty of features, the 2015 Honda Accord is a worthy purchase. The Accord is available in midsize sedan and coupe, but here we will just focus on the sedan.

The 2015 Accord comes in five trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and EX-L with Navi. Here’s what each trim offers.

The base LX offers all of the typical standard features found in most lower trims - full-power accessories, cruise control and dual-zone automatic climate control. But, the LX also has some perks. If you choose this trim, you will get an eight-inch infotainment display, rearview camera and Pandora Internet radio control for a drive-and-dance-worthy music selection.

The Sport trim has 18-inch wheels and achieves more horsepower than other models. It also has a rear spoiler, eight-way power driver seat with power lumbar and leather-wrapped steering wheel with shift paddles for the CVT (continuously variable transmission).

If you choose the EX, you’ll get many great features. While the EX builds off of the LX, it bumps up the niceties with heated mirrors, sunroof, keyless ignition and entry, power driver seat and leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also includes Honda’s LaneWatch blind-spot display and six-speaker sound system.

If you’re interested in loading up on technology features, the EX-L is the One. With the EX-L comes forward collision and lane departure warning systems, a more sophisticated rearview camera and a premium seven-speaker sound system with six-inch touch screen display.

EX-L with Navi:

The EX-L with Navi provides exactly what its name implies - the Ex-L trim with a navigation system. If you are known for getting lost or if you travel often, the EX-L with Navi is the perfect choice.

Safety is another note-worthy topic when it comes to purchasing a car, and the 2015 Honda Accord rates very well in safety testing. In government testing, the 2015 Accord received five stars in overall protection and side-impact safety, and four stars for total frontal-impact safety.

The IIHS gave the Accord a ôGood rating in moderate-overlap frontal-offset, side-impact and roof-strength tests. It also gave ôGood ratings in small-overlap frontal-offset impact testing and in seat and head restraint design for whiplash protection in rear impacts.

Standard safety equipment for the 2015 Accord includes: anti-lock disc brakes, stability and traction control, active front head restraints, front seat side airbags and side curtain airbags. A rearview camera is standard on all trims. Available on upper trim levels is blind-spot, lane-departure and forward-collision warning systems.

One aspect many love about the 2015 Accord is its spacious feel inside. The front and backseat have plenty of leg and shoulder room, allowing even tall adults to be comfortable. The trunk is roomy with 15.8 cubic feet. With a low belt line, slim roof pillars and generous amount of glass, the Accord provides great visibility, which is always a plus.
